Pistachios from Greece

Characteristics and properties
Euphoria’s pistachios are from the rarer Koilarati (round) or Aiginis variety, which considered to be the world’s finest pistachios. They have a pale blonde shell, fuschia-tinged exterior and meat that is emerald when ripe.

With a sweeter taste than its American and Iranian counterparts. We use natural crude sea salt, from the salinas of Messolonghi, a region that is free of pollution and is protected by several environmental organizations. They have the right balance in salt, accentuating their delicate taste without covering it.
Also at the roasting process we use natural lemon juice, instead of citric acid.

Health benefits:
Pistachios are an excellent source of protein, fiber, copper, manganese, vitamin B6, (which plays a vital role in the body, particularly in relation to protein metabolism and cognitive development), thiamin, potassium, phosphorous, vitamins E and K, magnesium, iron, zinc and selenium. Moreover, pistachios are also a rich source of lutein and zeaxanthin, which are essential for the eye health, and they contain a broad range of bioactive phenolic compounds.
Due to their high content of bioactive compounds, pistachio nuts represent a rich source of antioxidants and have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory functions. According to studies, pistachios have been found to help reduce the risk of heart disease, and they keep your cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar in check. They also contain vitamin E, which has anti-ageing properties, and they have the fewest calories than all other nuts.
